Approach & About me
My approach is integrative. This means that I draw on several approaches used in the psychotherapeutic field (both humanistic and psychodynamic), which enables me to tailor therapeutic work around clients’ individual needs.

I believe that at the heart of all therapeutic work is the relationship between the client and the therapist. I offer a calm, safe and confidential space, where clients can explore their feelings and experiences within a supportive professional relationship. My way of working is down to earth with warm, open and accepting attitude. It is important for me to recognise client’s individual experiences and to treat them with respect and integrity.

In addition, I offer my clients a choice to use creative techniques in therapy. These include: use of art (drawing, painting), postcards, clay, drama, puppetry, poetry, music, body and dance/movement. Based on my experience I have found the arts helpful when working with both children and adults experiencing feelings difficult to articulate or find the right words for.

I trained at The Institute of Arts and Therapy in Education (IATE), attaining MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy and postgraduate Diploma in Child Counselling. I am committed to ongoing professional development.
